We provide Dual Enrollment classes, and our Early College Academy offers courses taught by Cerritos College right here on our campus. This allows students to earn college credits while still in high school.

The Early College Academy is a collaborative initiative between Bellflower High School and Cerritos Community College and is designed for students who want to get a head start for college.

Our mission is accomplished through pathways within the Bellflower High School Career Technical Education (CTE) department. Personal Skills, Workplace Skills and Technical Skills Grounded in Academics is integrated into the classroom curriculum.

The Academic Program of Excellence (APEX) is a voluntary organization, established in 2015, with the goal of preparing Bellflower High School’s high achieving students for admittance to the most competitive colleges and universities in the country.
