Think Together (After School Care)

OUR MISSION:
Think Together partners with schools to change the odds for kids.

OUR VISION:
To close the achievement gap for two million children in California.

Program Info: Think Together runs from school dismissal until 6:00pm every day that school is in session. The program is open to all 7th and 8th grade students attending Bellflower Middle School and is completely free of charge. Our Program features three main components; Academic Achievement, Enrichment, and Physical Activity.

Academic Achievement: Students have the opportunity to work on their homework and get assistance when needed.

Enrichment: Students participate in educational and engaging STEM and Visual and Performing Arts lessons. There are also various external vendors on site weekly, such as Stemnetics offering engineering projects, Nexplore with Pottery and Culinary classes, and Young Rembrandts with art lessons.

Physical Activity: Students engage in various team sports where they work on sportsmanship and coordination. Street Soccer is another external vendor that shows up weekly that teaches the students soccer drills and hosts scrimmages.
