About BHS Activities Dept

Bellflower Middle/High School offers a robust co-curricular program that provides opportunities for all students. We take pride in our award winning and high caliber programs and we invite all of our students to get involved. There truly is something for everyone and if there isn't, student's have the opportunity to create their own clubs.

Research shows that students who are connected and get involved in school activities reap many social and academic benefits and their involvement enhances their overall school experience. Some benefits include higher grade point average, better attendance, lower drop-out rate, higher self-esteem, ability to communicate, developing leadership skills, and learning various social skills. Student involvement in school is a good predictor of later success -- in college, career, and in society.
