California Scholarship Federation

Purpose: CSF is a state-wide honors society dedicated to honoring academically outstanding high school students. It is a highly selective club, as only students who fulfill the academic requirements may be eligible to join each semester. At Bellflower High School, CSF promotes life-long learning and friendship among its members, in addition to teaching students about colleges and scholarships.

Purpose: This club program is sponsored by FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising), one of the most well-known fashion schools offering a variety of different majors including fashion, beauty, entertainment, interior design, and graphic design! Purpose: The Peer Assistance Leadership Program is a club which involves students helping students. YBS/BSU - Black Student Union

Purpose: The Black Student Union (BSU) of Bellflower High School is committed to intellectual, cultural, social And ethnic diversity. The BSU’s focus is to build awareness, education, and a new level of consciousness about being an African American in today’s society. We will learn about our diversity and show through engaging each other in communication and activities we will grow in our acceptance and tolerance. We will get a better understanding of others while learning about ourselves. Interested members of BSU who demonstrate academic success are eligible to be part of Young Black Scholars (YBS). YBS students are expected to strive to maintain a minimum grade point average of 2.8. All club members are expected to maintain satisfactory citizenship.

How To Start A New Club

  1. Find 15 students who are interested in joining the club
  2. Find a faculty member to be the advisor of your club
  3. Work with faculty member to build a club constitution.
  4. Submit a printed copy of the constitution to Mrs. Beato, Mrs. Hovis, or Ms. Allen in the ASB Office for ASB approval.
  5. Once approved, you can begin holding club meetings.
