Dear Buccaneer Parents, Students, and Alumni,

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to Bellflower High School Athletics! This is a exciting time to be part of the Buccaneer Athletic family. We are excited about the direction and leadership of our teams as we continue to move towards academic and athletic success.

I want to congratulate our student-athletes and coaching staff for all of their hard work in preparation for the 2024-25 school year.  Their dedication and hours of practice will definitely result in the success that we all anticipate our teams will produce this year.

Bellflower High School offers 17 CIF sanctioned sports programs for both boys and girls. We are a member of the California Interscholastic Federation (C.I.F.) Southern Section and compete in the Suburban League. This past year, we had over 600 students that participated in our athletic programs. Over the years, Bellflower High School has amassed 124 league titles, 8 C.I.F. championships and 2 state regional championship.  

Finally, I would like to thank the parents and volunteers for their hours of volunteer work and support of the athletic program.

The Bellflower High School Athletic program will build and nurture character, integrity, diligence and honesty in every student athlete and will provide the student athletes with the necessary preparation and coaching to win not only on the field of competition and in the classroom, but in life as well. 

WE COMMIT TO:

• Encourage participation in several sports and co-curricular activities throughout the year
• Always strive to be proud of our product by teaching a positive work ethic, promoting sportsmanship and  fair play
• Always strive to obtain recognition for our student-athletes
• Meet the needs of our student athletes and will model the philosophy of the Bellflower Unified School District, Bellflower High School and Bellflower Athletics.
